Game Changing Radical RadishesTags: The Game Changer
Radishes and turnips are in abundance this time of year, take advantage! It’s a great time of year to have them. So head to your local farmers market and stock up, talk to your farmer, get to know them. Because they’re the secret to some of the best radishes you can buy.
- 1 bunch Red Radishes
- 1 bunch Salad Turnips
- 1 tsp + 1 tbsp Big Cove Foods The Game Changer spice blend
- 1 tbsp fresh orange juice, plus zest from half an orange
- 1 tsp + 1 tbsp olive oil butter, for the pan
Cut the radish and turnips into halves, or quartered if large and left whole if small.
Preheat oven to 450 f.
Line a baking sheet with a film of butter and put the cut side of vegetables facing down. Season with 1 tsp of The Game Changer, salt and pepper and drizzle with the tsp of olive oil.
Place in the oven for 6 minutes, set a timer as time is important in this recipe. Remove and, using tongs, flip the vegetables and roast for an additional 6 minutes.
Toss veggies in a bowl with 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp of The Game Changer and the orange juice and zest of half and orange.
